Validate all three digits

The first digit is 1–9, the second 0–9, and the multiplier 0–6. Whitespace, letters, signs, Unicode lookalikes, and other lengths fail as a whole.

Apply the pF multiplier

Combine the first two digits, then multiply by ten raised to the third digit. For 473, 47 × 10³ gives exactly 47000 pF.

Show exact pF, nF, and µF

One nanofarad is 1000 pF and one microfarad is 1000000 pF. Exact decimal arithmetic keeps every factor of 1000 visible and never chooses a nearby code.
